Gustave Posted July 5 Posted July 5 He has written against "sports"? Or, did I understand the article wrong. Quote
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 5 Author Moderators Posted July 5 Gustave, the brief comment in the 2nd article could be understood in two ways. Or, possibly, it could be thought to apply to both ways. * Today, some SDA schools, primarily High Schools and Colleges, engage in sport competitions with other schools. As an example, a SDA High School, might \ have a baseball team that competes with other similar schools. Some elements of Adventism disagree with that. NOTE: I would be surprised if any such football team existed. * It is possible that he might have written against SDA members attending (or watching on TV) a sports game. But, I doubt it. I think that it is most likely to be the first one that I mentioned. Quote Gregory

Joe Knapp Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I heard through several places that Pastor Wilson would retire. Perhaps that is why he made some of the comments he did. Calling people instigators and conspiracy theories. Quote
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 6 Author Moderators Posted July 6 There was a lot of speculation. Some of it involved people thinking that Kohler might be the next President. My personal opinion is: We do not yet know the full story. Quote Gregory
