On November 19, during the year-end meeting of the Lake Union executive committee in Berrien Springs, Michigan, United States, members approved a special statement expressing concern for the evolving circumstances affecting immigrants in our cities.

Let us not forget that these illegal aliens are criminals.  They have broken the law.  Never forget that. 

My family cannot just come to America ! My sister in-law, mother-in-law,  cousins and more. But these people think they are special and can ignore the laws and expect church people to help them. 

At this point, my wife cannot even come to America. My retirement income is too low.  I am supposed to feel compassion for people who have no respect for the law and now are facing consequences. 

What is wrong with our people?
