Taken with a Nikon D800  24-70 2.8 lens..My "walking around" lens.

Lovely picture with lens ideal for people....would be very frustrating for my birds though 

what do you use for the birds.....   I still am so sorry that all the photo in the old software were not able to make the transition.  You , John317 and others put a lot into that.

I have a Nikon D7000 and mostly use a Sigma 150-500 mm lens....also have a Sigma 18-250 for general stuff,  I like to take some people pictures from afar and need the zoom.  I did once ask a portrait photographer what she was using for studio shots and she said a 75 mm lens.

PS if this makes me sound as if I know what I am talking about,  it is at least partly an exaggeration
