Nothing implied about HRC or Sanders. I don't believe HRC is about serving humanity or winning the lost. I have never heard her talk about Christianity faith etc. Maybe she has but I don't see her as a woman of faith. I see her as a secular politician. I would suggest that this text encompasses the central message of Jesus: Is 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. There is nothing about Conservative Christianity's political priorities that aligns with this. Much of Jeremiah Wright's preaching lines up with the prophetic messages of the OT and that of Jesus. Ironically he is a modern Jeremiah.
