Let me chime in here as a Moderator: * As fare as a post being "off topic" goes, I prefer to let threads develop as they do. If they happen to be "off topic" I will not intervene, most of the time. * There is a distinction between a "liar" and one who had made a "false statement". When one states that a person is a "liar" one is saying that someone knowingly and intentionally attempted to deceive. This is much worse than s imply stating tha one made a false statement--a statement was wrong. On attributes intent to deceive and the other does not. * In the past, I have acted on people being called a liar and requested that such not be done. But, sometimes my time is quite limited and I am not able to review everything that is posted. [As an example, when I get my regular eye injections, I am off the Internet for as much as 18 hours.] In actual fact, some posts are never read, by me, unless someone contacts me and complains. So, sometimes I just let a post go because it has been visible for a while. * I prefer that people not call another person a liar, but simply stated that they have made a false statement.

I agree and there has been story after story of when they finally catch someone that has done the terrorising it has been a white supremist acting/claiming to be a BLM member!! Not saying it's like that in all cases, but most!!

Some of the looting, as i understand it, is done by White supremacists. Remember the Umbrella Man? Also, Antifa means Anti -Fascist, so the only thing wrong with that is some conservative members of the govt use that group as an enemy, while other groups are just pushed aside. And I think stinsonmarri was using that just that as an example of how involved the youth are becoming.

Referring to the EGW quote in your post, just because EGW said it doesn't make it so. God is not in the business of punishing His elect; He is in the business of loving them and helping them into the Kingdom with His Holy Spirit. John 3:17 says God sent not His Son into the world to condemn it, but that the world through Him might be saved. Any tests God sends our way are meant to mature us - not harm us. God's word says that a Father who loves His children disciplines (make disciples of) His children. Discipline involves learning a lesson. Punishment involves hurting people. God does not punish His elect; but He will punish the wicked - all the way to death. All of the times the "mean God" of the OT destroyed a civilization, it was to protect His Chosen people and the pure lineage of Christ. In the end days, God will destroy (punish) the wicked in order to preserve His Chosen people Israel (including spiritual Israel).

I suspicion you have been watching too much CNN, the news network with the ratings falling thru the floor because they have gotten so many stories wrong. Not sure where "story after story" came from (CNN?!), but I have heard none of such. Having lived in Portland on/off for decades, it is a hardcore leftist city and the nearest "white supremacists" are all the way over in Idaho. They had riots going on for over 60 days in that city. Funny that the claim that they are a bunch of right wing / white supremacists has barely been mentioned by leftist politicians! So we shall see. The Justice department has over 300 open investigations going on. The count of leftist versus extreme rightists will be interesting to see.
