@Rahab actually supplied us with a good text here for the OP in her daily Three Word Devotional for today: The suggested act of "pouring out The Holy Spirit" suggests a cup or vessel which needs to be "filled," and that seems mostly dependent upon how we respond to "rebukes" from our Lord. "Rebuke" is seemingly different than "torture" or "discipline" but before we get hng up on semantics or words, let us consider that when God speaks, regardless of the context; the benefits of heeding whatever He says, and of listening close to The Holy Spirit is the result of knowing Him, and loving Him. Why would we want to love someone we don't even know? (John 17:3)

I understand about the fear, but I think the children will return once end time events become clearer. This pastor just infuriates me. My Mom used to say that someone deserved "a good poke in the snoot" or a "swift kick in the pants". This man is a candidate for both.

I don't know what challenge he asks of us, but he cannot take something God calls unclean and declare it clean. Who the heck is he? Noah knew the difference--it is not a Mosaic law. An the way he reads Acts 10 and 11 is ridiculous. And as for having broad ranges about the borders of Adventist belief, well, that sounds an awful lot like the unity movement and the desire to fit in. So what is the point? He can go off and be one of the Ecumenicals. I could care less. A pastor? He needs to go.

Want you to know that I am not asking in a snotty way,but just want a reference. Can you explain this further? And where do you get all of your information? It almost reads like the Two Babylons! What is cool with Pastor Doug is that there is social distancing and it is being done outside. I agree with you. This is sensible and practical. I didn't know what to expect when I read this thread. I know that a lot of Adventist folk are kinda using it as "See, we are supposed to be in church, no matter what" I love going to church, but am in the high risk. And God told his people to stay inside when the Angel of Death passed over. I try to use my Sabbath time time to learn as much as I can, watch videos on you tube. Thank God (thank you Lord SO much) for all of the knowledge given and accessible! Your post is absolutely fascinating.

Then I would like to explain even further, it is spacing that is the problem. Other churches that open learned it quick. Plus, California especially southern is a hot spot. If churches could have outside services in country like setting with spacing and using mask, it is possible that could work. California is having an extremely problem with the heat as well so you could not sit in your car and keep it running it would overheat. This history was archaic because it based a lot of Biblical history on Josephus! He was a traitor and knew nothing of YAHSHUA or many things historically he wrote about. We know that today! Well that is why this virus has come upon us and America especially. This country had a lot of hateful things done to people of color and the Gospel must be given to all nations. YAHWEH brought HIS prophecies back to the forefront and is uniting people and Bidden has shown that we are all Americans and divisiveness is dying. It is not about politics but about people from Japheth, Shem, and Ham; the three brothers’ children are uniting. Truth will be able to shine the light of true Worship to THE MOST HIGH and to start the sealing!
