Members phkrause Posted September 5, 2014 Members Posted September 5, 2014 Leave your car behind and discover the delights of fall and early winter as you journey from inn to inn by bike, foot, horse, skis, or snowshoes. After an invigorating day in the crisp air, arrive at a charming little inn where your bags await and someone else has prepared a hearty meal. Gracious innkeepers send you off the next morning with a fond farewell and a bagged lunch, wherever you may be: among fall foliage in Vermont, in the wine country of Italy, or between volcanoes in Ecuador. http://www.smartertravel.com/photo-galleries/editorial/explore-the-outdoors-by-hopping-from-inn-to-inn.html?id=839&all=1 TruthSeeker123 1 Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 5, 2014 Members Posted September 5, 2014 I was just reading yesterday about people who retire, sell their homes, and simply travel around the world, stopping in various places for overnight, a week, or month (brief rental). Sounds like they have a wonderful time!! One thing to remember, though, is (for Americans) that their Medicare health insurance does not cover for healthcare outside of the United States. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
