Don't you think that behaviour is a good indicator of the true state of one's beliefs? That it belies one's words more often than one would like to admit?

Yes. One definition of 'belief' is 'disposition to act'. What we *really* believe comes out in what we do.

It's so very common that people espouse beliefs with their mouths that their actions don't support, though, that the image in the OP is a valuable reminder.

The reverse is also true.  Many people shape their beliefs around how they behave in order to justify their behavior.
