Moderators Bravus Posted March 28, 2015 Moderators Posted March 28, 2015 It's a while since we had one of these, and it seemed like a fun thing to do. Name one blessing in your life for which you're thankful. Quote Truth is important
Moderators Bravus Posted March 28, 2015 Author Moderators Posted March 28, 2015 For me, this morning, it's the ability to simply go for a walk. I enjoy it, and often take it for granted, but it's a blessing. Joel Melashenko and Gail 2 Quote Truth is important
Moderators Joel Melashenko Posted March 28, 2015 Moderators Posted March 28, 2015 I'm blessed today for the opportunity of education. While stressful and intense at the moment (writing Masters thesis), I'm immensely blessed for the opportunity to read, learn, and share with others. Bravus and Gail 2 Quote
Administrators Gail Posted March 28, 2015 Administrators Posted March 28, 2015 Thank you very much for starting this! This last week was awesome for me, at the store. I love when I can chat with people who are excited about faith and the Bible. Recently I have had occasion to speak to a few excited non-Adventists and my heart was so lifted. OTOH, God has worked beyond expectation for those for whom we have prayed. Each happy ending for them is one for me, too. Breath and strength is always a good thing. This week I have had both in better abundance than I have had in weeks, maybe months. AND... The daffodils are blooming! Bravus and Joel Melashenko 2 Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Moderators james423 Posted March 28, 2015 Moderators Posted March 28, 2015 Being able to go with my wife to another SDA church an hour's travel away without skipping any church responsibilities. Joel Melashenko, Gail and Bravus 3 Quote James Brenneman
CoAspen Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Weekends! Look forward to everyone of them!!! Gail, Joel Melashenko and Bravus 3 Quote
Administrators Naomi Posted March 29, 2015 Administrators Posted March 29, 2015 For the opportunity to share God's word. Joel Melashenko 1 Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted March 29, 2015 Administrators Posted March 29, 2015 Having had an opportunity to take a road day trip with my oldest son to go visit my ailing/aging parents yesterday. Time well spent. Joel Melashenko, Gail, rudywoofs (Pam) and 1 other 4 Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted March 29, 2015 Members Posted March 29, 2015 this might sound odd, but I really think Facebook has been a blessing to me.. I've found cousins I've never met and friends I've not seen for nearly 50 years... and met complete strangers from all over the world who are now fast friends! Gail and Naomi 2 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
