Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 27, 2015 Moderators Posted April 27, 2015 See: http://www.adventistreview.org/church-news/story2579-zambia%E2%80%99s-president-celebrates-milestone-of-1-million-Adventists With the membership milestone, Zambia has more Adventist members than any other country in Africa and joins just three countries with more than 1 million members: Brazil (1.5 million), India (1.5 million), and the United States (1.2 million). The Philippines is not far behind, with 918,669 members as of December, and Kenya (824,185) and Zimbabwe (803,521) are closing the gap. The Adventist Church has 18.5 million members worldwide. The SDA Church in the U.S. does not have the most members. Stan 1 Quote Gregory
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted April 29, 2015 Members Posted April 29, 2015 probably more useful information would be the percentage of SDA members according to each country's population: 6.8% Zambia 2.0% Kenya 0.92% Philippines 0.74% Brazil 0.38% USA 0.12% India (using 2014 population stats) Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup.
