LifeHiscost Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Just imagine, if we had the unconditional love to others as dogs do to us. I knew of a person, some time ago long enough so I can't remember when or where, who believed that dog spelled backward is God and concluded that meant dogs were the visible presence of God. I knew that couldn't be true, having seen a dog have to be shot dead because they were briefly, before being put to sleep, behaving as if it was devil possessed. Anyone remember what that behavior by a dog was called? God is Love!! Jesus saves! Quote Lift Jesus up!!

Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted July 1, 2015 Administrators Posted July 1, 2015 Richard, sorry to hear this sad news about Mr. Murphy. Our dogs (and other animals for that matter) are family. Losing a member of the family is hard. Kevin H, Richard Holbrook, Gail and 2 others 5 Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." Richard Holbrook Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 Great pictures Richard, thanks for sharing I love sharing them. Thank you for looking PK. I will go and pick him up tomorrow. I had him cremated. His ashes will be in a nice polished rosewood box, with his name "Mr. Murphy Holbrook" engraved on the plate. Also it will have his dates: June 7, 2004 - June 28, 2015. And they made a paw print for me on an index card. For a little extra money they cremated him by himself so that his are the only ashes I will get. : ) Gail, Liz and Kevin H 3 Quote

I wonder if she still has him! I'll have to ask her. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Richard Holbrook Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 The cat was up in the tree looking down into my window through the blinds.... So of course Mr. Murphy tore down the blinds, and was fascinated by the cat. This was before he knew he liked cats. Quote

Richard Holbrook Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Thank you Naomi. Towards the end, about 2 weeks ago I was leaving to go to work, and had decided to leave him outside in the pen, since Carroll was out of state. I saw that there was a cat sitting in the pen with him keeping him company, and he was perfectly ok with it. Naomi 1 Quote
