Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted August 19, 2015 Members Posted August 19, 2015 This web site at http://ericandrewlewis.github.io/emoji-mosaic/ converts your photos to this mosaic. Kinda cool... here's an example: Aliensanctuary 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Aliensanctuary Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 The filter used to make the mosaic has some unusual images, including smiley and frowney faces. Photoshop has a number of filters that can be used to alter images, such as watercolor, sepia, embossed, fisheye, etc. rudywoofs (Pam) 1 Quote The Parable of the Lamb and the Pigpen https://www.createspace.com/3401451

Aliensanctuary Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) I used Photoshop Elements, much cheaper than the full version of Photoshop, to process, after scanning, some original watercolors for publishing. The interesting thing about the mosaic is that the farther away the viewer is from it, the closer it resembles the original. So, the emoji characters weren't generated by a filter, but were placed by hand? Aliensanctuary Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Oh, I just saw your link. The conversion to mosaic must use a filter. Quote The Parable of the Lamb and the Pigpen https://www.createspace.com/3401451
