Hi Jess! Not a whole lot of younger members here. Most of us are middle-aged (40+) and beyond. There are a few younger people here. I hope they will reach out to you when they find time. It seems the younger crowd has a lot more activity that keeps them from posting much here.

But...just because we're "older" doesn't mean we're boring or stuck in our ways. Give us a chance, we'd love to hear more from you!

Glad you've found us!

Welcome, Jess. I'm sure not everyone here has met everyone else in real life. At least, I  highly doubt I've met everyone here outside of the internet. Is that what you meant?

Hi Jess,

Is that 1994 when you graduated or when you were born?  Just wondering. Hope you don't take offense easily 'cause when your my age it's sometimes difficult not to be politically incorrect. Did the title of the forum draw you to it?

Hey Jess,

Welcome!  We really NEED some younger folks here.  I'm 65; and getting tired of re-hashing the same old stuff here.  We need some new and fresh ideas.  Some of us are old in years but young at heart!  Fell free to introduce new topics!  But wear your thick skin - some of us can sound pretty cranky sometimes.

Look for a person named "Dream-Weaver".  She is a college student; and is open minded and outspoken.  She hasn't been on much since school started; but when she posts, she has good things to say.  Feel free to PM me or look for the "Technical Assistance" thread to learn how thing work.

Being old, I'm not that computer-savvy, either...

I don't know. I just turned 30 last week, not everyone counts that as 'young'.

Welcome to the fourm Jess! I've been posting/reading here for a little while now and so far have loved it. The people actually reply to posts (unlike other fourms). Also, I'm 24.

Welcome Jess,

Haven't been here that long myself but yeah it's definitely the best general Adventist forums I've come across... for the greater part others tend to get over-run with trolls who have no positive interest in the church.

I'd like to think that I'm still young but according to a previous post I seem to be in the middle-age range *sigh*

As for your images I looked at the source and they simply aren't there... I don't know how Gyazo works either...

To embed an image here, do your other typing, click on Source and add code like this. It may be just that the embed code you got from Gyazo wasn't right... I don't know. If you can get the image to show up by just inseting the URL into the address bar then you can safely add the image like this. If you need to you can limit the size of the image by adding a width="value" declaration.
