Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 26, 2015 Members Posted November 26, 2015 I think the Paris attacks were more "news" than the attacks in the Middle East simply because Middle East violence and terrorism isn't "new" anymore... After awhile, when one is surrounded by violence or reads about violence in particular areas of the world, it ceases to have its shock value. Perhaps that's one reason terrorists seek to stretch their tentacles out to other areas of the world – to maintain their place in the eyes of the media and the rest of the world.
