I heard that Trump said he was going to turn Bill Clinton into Bill Cosby. This reminds me of Haman  in the book of Esther who plotted the demise of Mordechai only to find that he had built his own gallows.

With every accusation he throws at Clinton he's reminding every woman he ever groped and assaulted what he did to them. Apparently, there are now five. My prediction is that the number of women that come out will exceed Bill Cosby by the time it's all over. It's not hard to see what's coming.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

In our quest for finding the bottom of the political cesspool, I think it might be important to have a serious discussion about the alleged affair of Abraham Lincoln... Or the slave mistresses that resulted in bastard children of Thomas Jefferson... or the despicable nature of Andrew Jackson... Or how about that real crook, Richard M. Nixon... or how about let's talk about the many criminal convictions for the fall guys in the Ronald Reagan administration...  That's all relevant to this election, isn't it?

Just a reminder it is Hillary Clinton that is running for president. And Donald Trump.  If their spouses are to be fair game, let's talk about Melania.  About her soft porno photos.  About her sketchy immigration to the US and alleged working as an illegal alien.  About her plagiarized speech.  About her falsified educational history.  And it seems evident that she may have thus far done that horrible thing of standing by her man, like someone named Hillary...

Multiple posts have discussed the idea that Monica (and perhaps others) set out to seduce President Bill Clinton.

Our society today, and professional organizations, strongly consider that sexual relationships between two person with a major difference of power to be ethically wrong.  E.G.  Teaching organizations will typically consider that sexual relations between a teacher/professor and a student to be wrong.  Sexual relations between a counselor and a counselee are considered wrong.

From this standpoint a sexual relationship between the U.S. President and an Intern represents a major power difference and is considered wrong.  Personally I believe that such should be considered legal rape.  Sometimes it is and at other times and places it is not legally rape. Where it is not, I believe that the law should be changed.

Perhaps Monica and some of the others set out to seduce Bill Clinton?  I do not know.  But, I do know this that in any situation where such a power difference exists the person with the power should be able to recognize that transference is occurring and be able to appropriately respond.  While it may be true that Monica has some responsibility, the major responsibility rests with the former President.  It is on him that blame must be focused.

NOTE:  Transference is normal in humans.  It is just as likely to be negative as it is to be positive.  IOW,  transference can result in a person strongly disliking another person.

As to Monica flipping her thong:

Personally, I would NOT consider such to be erotic.  But, I might consider it to be seductive.

If someone did that to me, my first likely response would be:   "  O. K.  . . .   What is going on with you?

My question would be intended to get it out in the open and on the table for discussion.

In that discussion a clear understanding could be reached that I was not interested in a sexual affair.

NOTE:  I have a hard time  thinking about a situation where I could  view a woman flipping her thong at me.  In my contacts with women their thong, if they were wearing one, has not been in primary view.

Agreed. That is why it shouldn't be an issue of the tape, not a legal offense. The former beauty pageant winner and others are rocks  by a private citizen being thrown  by Clinton. Not fair game unless Bill Clinton's is as well

Concerning Melanie Trump,if you recall when I brought her up I said "in this single incident" she behaved in a christian manner.

This topic is concerning the american reaction to smutty language.

Melanie Trumps response to her husband's and Hillary Clinton's response are miles apart.  It is not about staying in the marriage that is relevant. It is how it was done. What Hillary did can only be construed by some as christian.

This is not about devoted Hillary standing by her man. It is the "christian" way she did it as a woman always claiming to be an advocate for women

Abraham Lincoln, totally lacking in what you demand for  Clinton's and accepting for Trump.

It has been speculated that Obama is a closet gay for several years,he even joined a gay club.Of course if that is brought up as a slam against Obama then it is false,no proof.

Commentary on President Abraham Lincoln's sexuality has existed since the early 20th century.[citation needed] Attention to the sexuality of public figures has been heightened since the gay rights movement of the later 20th century. Lincoln's case re-entered the public light in 2005 with the posthumous publication of psychologist C. A. Tripp's book, The Intimate World of Abraham Lincoln.

In his 1926 biography of Lincoln, Carl Sandburg alluded to the early relationship of Lincoln and his friend Joshua Fry Speed as having "a streak of lavender, and spots soft as May violets". "Streak of lavender" was slang in the period for an effeminate man, and later connoted homosexuality.[2] Sandburg did not elaborate on this comment.[3]

The speculation is not relevant in the least. Maybe some focus would be helpful. No more so than if Obama is a closet gay.

Moral Rhetoricians cloaked in clouds of "I just know it,"   will keep coming out of the wood work, and they will stoically repeat how they know what a person is “really thinking,”  or what they "really did to or with so and so; without ever meeting or knowing a given individual in person, and verifying the alleged facts, which are mostly unproven; but they still spout as truth. .

Monica Lewinsky set out to seduce Bill Clinton by, among other things, flashing her thong and flirting.

Key word here Tom,Focus.

Thomas Jefferson ,his abuse of his slave and fathering children by her was a completely acceptable lifestyle. I don't understand it but it applies only if you find that despicable in Thomas Jefferson and a "Oh well" concerning another.

Just for the record Thomas Jefferson didn't have mistresses,he had victims of rape and sexual assault, they had absolutely no choice if they wanted to live

If I remember,I would have to check, but he did not orchestrate  Watergate,he covered it up.Regardless his lies were totally unacceptable and he did the right thing. Whether by force or conscience.Would I have voted him back into office on the heels of this NOPE

The point is that whenever you raise any criticism of anybody you must realize that you will ultimately reap what you sow. This applies to Clinton and Trump. Its probable that Trump is a "Cosby" type of serial abuser. Time will tell. His narcissistic personality likely blinds him to consequences of his past and current actions.

Yup, that is why it would be wise for Hillary to shut her mouth on this topic as exactly the same statement can be said of Clinton

Nearly 100,000 Pennsylvania Voters Switch From Democrat To Republican

HARRISBURG (KDKA) – Nearly 100,000 Pennsylvania Democrats have switched to Republican since the beginning of the year.

What’s more: The Pennsylvania Republican party says more than 240-thousand new voters have joined the party since last November.

The state Republican party says that the surge in Republican registrations is nearly twice the number of newly registered Republicans compared to both the 2008 and 2012 numbers combined.

The party says the new numbers come from the Pennsylvania Department of State which shows that 97,607 Democrats have actually switched to Republican.

Numbers also show that 38,020 Republicans actually switched to Democrats.

“Enthusiasm is clearly on the side of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania this year,” Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason said. “Republicans are making historic gains in voter registration in the Keystone State. As the last-minute registrations are processed, we’re confident we will see our Party grow even larger.

Since the November 2015 election, 243,139 new voters have joined the Pennsylvania Republican party.

Not really. The stories are about Bill not Hillary. My guess is that people don't hold Hillary accountable for Bill's indiscretions.

Probably  not. They do hold her accountable for what they believe her "christian" behavior was towards the women involved in husband's indiscretions as a woman's advocate. Trumps poll numbers should be in the tank. While poll numbers can be manipulated this is pretty consistent.

the "sex stuff" of Donald Trump is being shoved at all of us ad nauseum by the media, with follow-up admonitions by various people to view that as the reason not to vote for him...

What Bonnie has been saying is that Trump's "sex stuff" is no worse than that of Bill Clinton, yet he was President.  And Hillary, as Bill's wife, tried to justify his exploits at the expense of the women he violated.  Yet, she calls herself an advocate for women.

Of course, there are the *real* issues:  the economy, healthcare, defense.  The problem, as I see it, is that the candidates just say what they think will get them the votes.  They make promises they can't keep, and statements that aren't true.  Neither one is believable in my estimation.

It really just turns my stomach to think of either Trump or the Clintons in the White House.  :yucky:

Your posting nary shows any concern for peoples "christian behaviour." Theres way too much focus here on "sex stuff" as another poster so aptly put it. And by the looks of your post times you sit on the computer day and night to reply immediately to all offenders who dont have the same one track mind on such issues.

If you were not interested in sex stuff you would not be reading. You have snarky comments to me concerning a post another made, sarcastic comments that you did not make to the one that actually initially posted it.

same one track mind on such issues.

There are those that have more than a one track mind of sexual abuse, different mindset for different people so yes on that subject I have a one track mind.

The one track mind you refer to says that regardless of the name behind the smutty actions and language I view that in the same light. I don't pick and choose who gets a pass. I would not vote or  re-elect a sexually deviant president and then decide Donald Trump is unfit.

And by the looks of your post times you sit on the computer day and night to reply immediately to all offenders who dont have the same one track mind on such issues.

This is the second time that how I spend my time has been brought up .I am touched by the concern. I will put your mind at rest

so maybe it won't have to come up again. I run a home based embroidery business. I average about five hours of sleep at night, beginning my day around 5:00 am.

Working on very expensive items I would have to replace at my cost,I don't get very far from either the computer or machine. I need  to monitor the embroidery machine at all times to be able to shut down and correct if a problem develops. I can hear by the tone if I need to do that before it turns into a ruined mess. So you are right I am at the computer but not for  "you sit on the computer day and night to reply immediately to all offenders who dont have the same one track mind on such issues"I am not a big fan of television,it doesn't work well having all my attention focused on a book so that doesn't leave a lot of options besides just sitting. This is a six day routine.

Part of that time is spent in producing items for those in need. A baby blanket for babies in shelters with, either or both parents quilts and warm clothing for a group that distributes to the homeless, warm jackets for children that otherwise would not have them. Cloth baby diapers for those unable to afford the continuing expense of disposables

Now that you can rest easy about how I spend my time, how to you spend your hours? And are you involved in this topic because you have a one track mind on such issues. You see it as somehow erotic? Those that find themselves "pant, pant" really shouldn't be reading.
