The following article informs us to the fact that some delegates to the upcoming General 
Conference are being denied visas to travel to the U.S.  Based upon current news reports on the U.S. Presidents plans to restrict travel to the U.S., this situation can be expected to increase.

It is sad, but I can understand. 

The reason they are held in the USA is, that's what the delegates want. 

They are the ones voting on it.

Joe;  who are the ones wanting it in the US?   US members are a minority  in the International Church.  I can well imagine that the members in Africa would be delighted to have it in Africa.  Others would likely be delighted to have it in Denmark/Sweden.   The total cost would likely be less if it was held in Africa.
