I go to PUC....I love it here!

The atmosphere is really spiritual, the scenary is nice, the teachers are good, we have kickin' choir and band, etc. Oh yeah...PUC is the place to be...

I know someone who went to PUC, Southern, and Walla Walla (graduated last year). She liked Walla Walla the best. That was her personal opinion. Each has its pros and cons.

Union College is a GREAT school.

But what do you want to study?

I or my children have attended Southwestern, Walla Walla, Union, Columbia Union, Andrews and La Sierra colleges. Depending on the field of study and the year you are in, all have a lot to offer. For example, when one daughter went to Walla Walla as a graduate student in Biology, her tuition and books were covered and she had the opportunity to teach labs for various science classes). Which one is the best really depends on you, your personality and your needs.

RA RA RA for Loma Linda U!!

I attended 3 different colleges for a period of a bit over 7 years! The second college I attended was Loma Linda University (actually back then, it was the La Sierra Campus in Riverside, CA).

The happiest times of my college life were spent at Loma Linda U. I only attended there 2 years as a ministerial studies student and left to attend a public university. But during that time at LLU, I was richly blessed many times over.

I can remember when I worked at LLU for a Dr. Leon Maschak (who later went to Southern and retired from there too, I believe) and also worked for a professor Steve Daily. I was their proctors for about a year.

One of my foundest memories was that Dr. Maschak saw so much of me living in his office, that he went out and bought a small refrigerator and kept it stocked with food for me. He was a wonderful scholar, teacher and friend to all of his students.

I highly recommend Loma Linda and La Sierra Universities to anyone!

I have heard some good things about Southern. I went to Andrews for my Master's and it was the right choice for me for what I wanted to do.

Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us.

Yeah...it does depend on what you want to major in.

At PUC:

The math department here is awesome

The premed, predent, etc program is also awesome (Such as Bio, Physics, etc.)

The music program is a good one

I can't really comment on any of the other majors seeing I have no experience with them... Hope this helps.

try Avondale College in Australia... think of it as college for a year, with a free holiday thrown in. All cheaper than a year at a US college because of the value of the US$ in Aussie land. http://www.avondale.edu.au

I went to Canadian University College and Andrews University. When I was at CanUC I lived in the dorm and that school was so great! When I was at AU I did not live in the dorm and though it is an exellent school I much preferred CanUC. For those of you in the U.S. right now because of the Canadian $ your tuitition at CanUC is almost half. (Somehow that doesn't seem fair.) I wish I could do CanUC all over again. They were the best years of my life.

I attended Andrews for two years and enjoyed them, but I don't rave about them.

The rest of my family attended Union College, and, while I didn't choose to attend there (and they didn't offer my major at the time), I don't have anything bad to say about it. It was just very small and I wanted something somewhat larger. everyone I know who went there loved it.

When I lived in HI and took my students on Senior trip to PUC and LaSierra, I was very impressed with PUC--especially the spiritual atmosphere. Less so with LSU.

Yeah...the spiritual atmosphere here is awesome. We have these little family groups all over campus and we study the word, get to know each other, etc. It's such a blessing...I look forward to it every week.

The vespers program here is really good. They have really good speakers most of the time.

The church service here is awesome. Our pastor is Pastor Mic Thurber...and he is an awesome preacher.

sigh...I love it here...

I know one of John's sons is a pastor in CA...
