Sorry to be a spoil sport but I do not qualifiy as a geophagist! I was not sure whether to start another word here or commence a new post....but I was delighted while watching Planet Earth, a David Attenborough production, to hear the word "Snotite". Any one who wants more details can easily google the word, but it is a sort of stalactite made from bacteria, which drops moisture onto the cave floor. Just the sort of thing everyone wanted to know - and the little bugs are probably not geophages either!!!! Quote
