There was once a trial in a particular area when the buttered bread landed buttered side up. People wondered and many conferences were held to try to determine why such a fundamental law of nature had been broken. After much discussion they finally realised that the bread had been buttered on the wrong side!

And I thought your answer was so funny, maybe others might think I was wrong. So I ran it by my wife, and here's what she thought. rollingsmile

I'm reminded of the biology student, knowing how a frog reacts when immersed in steadily heated water to the boiling point, was interested in determining how a frog might react if subjected to the loss of his limbs one after another.

After separating the first limb, the frog continued making effort

to jump when startled by a hand clap, though somewhat impeded re: to making a straight course. The loss of the second limb made a distinct liability to any height accomplished. The third limb lost continued the downward trend for lack of movement even though the biology student continued to make effort through sharp noises to motivate the frog. After the fourth limb was severed, no matter how close or loud the student made effort to incite to move the frog, it just lay still. After some time passed observing the lack of movement, the student wrote in his journal his final assessment of the frogs lack of movement.

"It was determined after many attempts to motivate subject (the frog) and no visible movement was forthcoming, the frog had lost his hearing."

Since it is the Sabbath and the joke is somewhat macabre, perhaps it would be good to draw a spiritual lesson from the joke. Would it be safe to say this is a formula often used by wellmeaning individuals trying to remove the faults of others before introducing them to the Savior (The Great Physician)?

The traffic lane you are in is always the slowest.

When you go to plug in a two-blade electrical device, you will usually try it the wrong way first.

You haven't paid off the TYPO gremlins of late, have you???

You do know that there are TYPO gremlins who correct your correct spellings and diliberately mis-spell your words, don't you? I have it on good authority that they live in servers and in some very secret places in cyberspace. And they go around deliberately fowling up emails to cause tensions between cyber friends and changing words to create new varied meanings which in turn, create new and unintentioned communications and nueances that causes anger managment problems in the reciever.

That is why I asked the question-

What makes you think that you are in control of your email when you send it out...? [Ok, I expanded it abit, but it does clarify it and the word Gremlins don't like too many or precise wording...]

[Cue off the Twilight Zone music]

I'm still feeling sad about that frog. Frogs are some of my favorite people.
