D. Allan Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Yogiism, noun, not a type of meditation but an amusing speech error or paradox of a kind associated with Yogi Berra, a Hall-of-Fame baseball player for the New York Yankees. (source: Wikipedia.com) Examples: “It get late early out there.” “Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.” “I’m not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did.” When asked what time it is he said, “ You mean right now?” His sayings are usually surreal, ridiculous, absurd, and make use of clichés. They are refreshing, wouldn't you say! Do you have any favorite Yogiisms? Post them here maybe we can make a good collection of them. :hya Quote dAb O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
