The FDA has approved a contraceptive *morning-after* pill that can be bought over the counter by those women over 18 yrs old. The pill works by preventing the release of the egg from the ovary, and thus preventing fertilization. The other *morning-after* pill, R-486, causes an actual pregnancy to be aborted via chemical means. So...
