Amelia Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I don't know the background on the picture but two things pop out at me. First, a child that young should never be made to tout what I am thinking are the parents/adults beliefs and could this possibly be anti-Adventist© ? LifeHiscost Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Seems to be a child advancing what the parents wish to, about their desire to keep the pigs in the diet whether Jesus wishes different or not. Secondarily, it seems the newspaper in which the picture was displayed is really desperate for copy. "'You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me," Deuteronomy 5:9 NASB Regards!! olger Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 The story in Matthew 8 demonstrates two things. 1) The low regard that Jesus places on swine as a food source. 2) And even more important, this scene is illustrative of the final destruction that awaits the wicked. People who choose to align themselves with the enemy will ultimately go off the cliff and perish in the sea (lake of fire). regards, `oG Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
