For Americans that still love their country, this is Loyalty Day. For the rest of the world it is Worker's Day or what is equivalent to Labor Day in the US. For those Americans that hate their country, they can celebrate it as Worker's Day too. So everyone, everywhere, can celebrate May Day. Pervasive, and it's not wise to dismiss out of hand the origins of something. Way before the coming of Jesus and Christianity. What I would like to note and probably isn't even noteworthy, but the Beltane of the Celts is not the same Beltane of the Neopagans or Wiccans. Since I am a May Day Baby and celebrate it each and every year in celebration of my birth .... does that make me sinful and poluted because of the origins of the day? My point is that evil does not have a monopoly on the day. Anyone can celebrate the DAY for any new or old reason they want. You can accept the REASON or not accept it.
