Another Gitmo detainee gets charges dismissed

"GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba - A military judge dismissed charges Monday against a Canadian who was 15 when he was captured in Afghanistan, a surprise ruling that came minutes into the arraignment of the man classified as an "enemy combatant" at Guantanamo Bay.

I am not too concerned. I have faith in the American justice system. It is far from perfect but certainly among the best on the planet. If a judge is dismissing the charges I doubt the guy poses a threat to national security.

I believe the judge that dismissed the charges is part of the US government. In order to properly understand current events one must first grasp the basic civics of American government. In this case the executive branch is doing its job and the judicial branch is doing its job. It is a system of checks and balances.
