Don't blame me! I didn't kick the sleeping dog. duno

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

Way to go Tom! Something that started out here as light hearted trivia by Redwood was turned into 4 pages of opinionated discussion by certain serious minded folk. Cant blame Charis can we for throwing up her hands in despair! Toxic religion indeed!

Very familiar with this old tactic. Instead of dealing with the issues and the evidence, you just simply say ridiculous things and hope some of it rubs off on the subject you dislike.

Best way to really deal a death blow to the "toxic religion" or "the sleeping dog" is to show that it is wrong and mistaken. So far no one has even attempted to do that for some reason. That is strange.

Only last July 4, millions of SDA were studying this very subject, but now for reasons people are afraid to discuss, it is "toxic" and "a sleeping dog." But Jesus said, "Thy word is truth," and the Spirit inspired Saint Paul to write, "All Scripture [including Genesis 3] is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

It was not to JUDGE the world that God sent his Son into the world, but that through him the world might be saved. John 3:17.
