SMAN Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical.. A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm. A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?" Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.'" The doctor said, "That's not what I said.... I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'" Quote

SMAN Posted July 13, 2007 Author Posted July 13, 2007 An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%. The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, "Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again." The gentleman replied, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!" Quote

I wonder...if there are truely older gentlemen ...and women...who have actually gone thru this process and learned some remarkable things about thier family.... I actually know of one family, where the older folks got married and the wife actually raised her voice to her hearing impaired spouse...The son took his step father out while his wife and his mother went shopping. The son was using a louder voice, and the step father told the son, "Look, i love your mother. She is a wonderful woman...but you don't need to raise your voice for me." :thinking : teehe Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. nuff sed Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 That's like the guy who went strutting all over the place and they asked him why. He said. "The doctor said I am "impotent"....so I should "look 'impotent' "!! His wife came back from the doctor and reported that she had "fish in the tubes and if she ever had a child it would be a mackeral!" What he said was that she had inefficient tubes and if she ever had a baby it would be a miracle. Quote
