Heavy-handed, thin-skinned and intrusive moderating is counter-productive to a forum and so unlike you and your usual sense of good humor. I protest, even though I did not particularly like the drift of the discussion. We are being reduced to the lowest common denominator of blandness by the CA PC policing... As far as Im concerned, they wouldn't have felt that way if they hadn't pointed a finger in the first place. All wouldn't have happened if topic hadn't drifted but stayed on course. See, it was all becoming a "lets dump on one member" song and dance. And I seem to believe a certain group of members requesting that that type of thing be moderated more closely. Do something for one side and the other side gets their knickers in a twist. Try to even out the knickers and the first ones scream abuse. So don't come whining to the moderators/admins when your sensibilities get hurt. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and if it still hurts get out of the kitchen. It does appear that one must feel called to a certain position before we find peace that the Lord gives, despite the out of joint feelings that come from not always being filled with the wisdom of Solomon. And remember, Solomon married many hundreds of times, and God called him the wisest of men. Seems like that tells us something about God's recognition of where we are as human beings. I know the tough job moderators have. I was one on VOAF and I got flack for being hard and flack for not being hard enough. A moderator cannot win.
