Neil D Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Oh, and the reason for my 'paranoia' is that I have just come back from Florida, seeing/experiencing the "red tide" phenomona... I also did a bit of researching on it, and found that not only has it been on the west coast of Florida, but it is now on the east coast and has traveled all the way up to Mass. I'm kinda thinking that this pollution is getting on a global scale...Now, isn't there something in the bible where the sea was to turn as red as blood? You talk about the red tide in the Atlantic but there has been red tide in the Pacific too. One year it caused the claming season to be closed. Also, what about the huge creeping "dead zones" in all the oceans? Hummmmmm???? Dottie Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Red tide is an organism which shows up periodically along the coastline. I've heard it mentioned several times since we moved to FL. (1983) P.S. My little boy can find Fl. on the globe, and any other map that shows it. (I'm a little bit proud of him!) Quote
