Moderators Denise Posted October 23, 2007 Moderators Posted October 23, 2007 This is a chipmunk that my mama cat of my grown kittens caught today. I am glad my son decided he needed a break from school and went outside. He found the cat playing with this chipmunk, and would of killed it after she got sick of playing with the poor thing. Anyways, I called the vet, and they take in wild animals, so they are going to doctor the chipmunk up, and will call me to let me know how it's doing. Then, the chipmunk will be set free. And Norman didn't get to see this, for he's away for some training, so if your on Norman, this is the Chipmunk. LifeHiscost Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 This is a chipmunk that my mama cat of my grown kittens caught today. These are the same victims of the cats we love so much we expect God to bring them back home to heaven for us. Wonder why we don't find the same spirit to pray for those human animals that find it so much fun to torment their peers? Guess we need to apply this to our vision for the human animal, too. "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:6-9 KJ21 Quote Lift Jesus up!!

Dottie Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I think chipmunks are just so-o-o cute. We used to have them at our place when we lived in Jersey. One got in the house one day, and I tried to get it out. But believe me, you can't catch them by their tail, like a cat or dog. The skin will come right off! THEN, it decided to be able to find the open door. I hope your little chipmunk lives. What a kind thing you have done. Quote

It's interesting on what you wrote on their tails, I never knew that. But, they are so small anyways, I can see how their skin will come right off. I was surprised to see how small they were.....and I am curious on where they live, in trees like squirrels, or in burrows on the ground?
