world like AMERICANS

Doug, don't be confused.

There are many countries in the world where the citizens like Americans, and Americans are very welcome as visitors.

However the policies and actions of the US government may not meet with universal approval within these same countries. For instance here in Australia not everybody finds favour with the current handling of the situation in Iraq and I believe a majority would prefer that Australians not be involved. Does that mean that we don't like Americans? Of course not - Americans are always very welcome here and I believe always will be.

It just goes to show that news outlets are in the business of making money. The news headlines about all the nations that don't like America sell more papers and get more ratings. Bad news usually does. News about nations that love America, isn't going to sell too many papers for long or pull in ratings. I think there is something about our sinful human nature that loves negative news more than positive news. The media picks up on that and turns it into a profit.
