Amelia Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I have seen exactly 2 of these rollar skates and both were painted company cars. I don't think you will see many on the roads until they are priced for the comman person. Same goe's for all the other "green" cars out there. Neil D Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 Interesting.... base model, as I recall is $11k, mid priced was 13K and the smartcar that was able to bring the top down, $16k.... Is that too expensive? I don't know. The prius is about $23-25k.... Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Ellen Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 We have a handful of these smart cars in our community one on our street. It gives the driver a way to make a statement. They are funny looking and don't look very safe. You would even have to be careful what you bought at the grocery store I would think. Quote
Guest gem Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Most of the Smart Cars I've seen on the road have signs....companies seem to like it in delivering auto supplies to customers. I was interested on it before but friends teased me, they said, "might get run over on highway". Quote
