For $15 one can purchase a cheap satellite meter which is helpful in finding the birds. For $300 one can purchase a good meter that will make finding the birds very easy. I would like to see local congregations buy such a bird to help and encourage members to buy dishes. Over the years they have just become better and better. If your Pastor does not get them ... be SURE to give him/her a subscription for Christmas. And this year I insisted that my wife receive this. It may have been a little selfish because I also do very much enjoy them. By the way .... is your Pastor on your Christmas list? I hope so. Before I became a Pastor's Spouse ... I always gave my Pastor appreciation with such gifts as the Adventist Review etc. There are many who need to be on our Christmas list.
