Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted December 28, 2007 Members Posted December 28, 2007 POLAR BEAR ATTACK These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack in Churchill, Manitoba & were taken while people watched and did nothing to stop the attack! Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Neil D Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 This is cute....but where was mama? Now, THAT'S the polar bear attach that I would want to AVOID!!! Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted December 29, 2007 Moderators Posted December 29, 2007 Cute, yes. But, I would not want to have a polar bear that size chewing on me. I would be concerned that it could do some damage. I do not want to be involved in anything dangerous. I would rather do someting safe like jump out of an airplane. Quote Gregory

Guest gem Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Hopefully, with a parachute....... U don't need one if the airplane is parked. teehe Quote
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted December 30, 2007 Moderators Posted December 30, 2007 Yes, I have exited an airplane at 4,000 + feet above the ground, and with a parachute. However, I once exited a helicopter that was 90 feet above the ground, and I did not have a parachute as such can not be used as such a low level. I broke a rib in doing so. But, that was my own fault. I did not need to break that rib. Hint: I slid down a rope, and broke a rib becasue I held the rope to tight to my chest! Quote Gregory
