Stan Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 Ever wonder what the guy who invited bagpipes was thinking about when the thought was developed?? Woody Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Stan ... the only problem is that those were Scottish Bagpipes. The Irish Bagpipes are much better. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

And Redwood, will you please tell us how one can know the difference? [Happy New Year, everybody!] Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
Woody Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 It is quite simple Jeannie. The Scottish Bagpipes have a mouth piece. The Irish don't. they are played with the movement of the arm kinda like an accordian from what I observed. I might add ... The Irish are a mouth piece for many things ... but when it comes to bagpipes .... they leave that off. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won.
