ChildofChrist Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Amelia, I loved watching the Hustle too. Too bad that I have two left feet. To this day, my daughter says it's my fault that she never danced and feels embarassed to do it in public. Claims there was never any music in the house. Nothing could have been further from the truth but I don't try to correct her. I was raised that Adventists just didn't dance. Then I learned that some couples dance behind closed doors as preparation... Then I learned that for the most part-folk dancing is ok. About 10 or 12 years back, Women's Ministries and Children's Ministries used to do what ever that Jewish circle dance. As I matured, I learned that David danced before the Lord. Gets kinda confusing after a while. Yep, in public junior high, we learned square dancing. To me, it reminded me of the marching we did in Junior Academy.
