Personally, I associate divorce with relief from stress more than with a broken heart. But in reality, the broken heart comes first.

Is carolaa a female? Divorce for rich men is often a hard thing because they get taken to the cleaners. For normal people, its impact really varies case by case with most people saying they are happier after the divorce than they were in the bad marriage. However many women, especially with children, are hit financially very hard by divorce.

I'm wondering if he had the heart attacks after the divorces or while he was still married. Maybe the marriages were so stressful they caused the heart attacks. Maybe the divorces are the reason he is still alive today.

I don't know about Larry King, but studies have shown married people have better chances of recovery from heart disease and cancer than single or divorced people. One study actually showed a married, smoker has a better chance than an unmarried nonsmoker. Quite interesting really.
