bonnie Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 This would be better suited to Natter Matters, however for some reason I cannot post there. It appears the "righteous wrath" of some continue. How long till there is a realization that prior to an explosive situation becoming public, much has gone on behind the scenes. Rarely is this a one way street. When the explosion occurs, the concentration is on the explosion itself. One claiming to be the injured party, ignoring personal behavior that brought them to this point, keeps pointing righteously at the end result. For my personal situation I suggested a way to put to rest all he said she said and lay everything out from the beginning. It could have been closed. Not in the same manner Natter Matters, but only proof of what took place and only those from beginning to present, not C/A exclusively, that had some involvement would be allowed to view. Laid out in sequence by date. Others having e-mails,correspondence directly related to what has taken place would be free to offer theirs as well. No comment, no rationilization, just as events occurred. This did not seem to be well received, but the "righteous anger" over what some claim to have suffered at the hands of others continue. No aknowledgement of the role they themselves have played. Only concentrating over and over again on the injustice that was done to them by the final act. I see no rush which I would expect to see, to once and for all put to rest certain events. Only opportunities waited for to continue to rail against the injustice received at the hands of another. This is of course well received by others. Those continuing to ignore their behavior and concentrate only on what is seen as the final step taken. I am not sure if it is entertaining or if people actually look at the final act only and think it just came out of the blue, and are really sympthetic to the poor party that never saw it coming. What is confusing here is the statement is often repeated concerning other events posted here. "We don't know the whole story, so we can't judge" In the event that a dispute is laid out from beginning to end, events just as they occurred,I still expect the focus to be on the final event and the "injustice done" by doing so. Not what has led up to it, the actions of all parties involved. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
Stan Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 WHo is prepared to look at all the evidence, and provide the evidence, and defend the evidence... I see no reason why that should be public. Didn't say anything about C/A or ask you to take part in any portion of anything. Nor did I say it would be made public. Quite the opposite. Only those that have or are directly involved with the continuing complaints. It would be much more private than Natter Matters and you do not seem to have a problem with what is brought up there. There seems to be a continuing interest or at least it seems to be brought up again and again how some people feel/were threatened and actions taken. I am not asking anyone to look at anything they would choose not to. A complete record of postings in order they occurred, e-mails directly related to the events,in order which they occurred. Any that had a part can read/challenege any portion they are directly involved in. Can deny and offer what they claim is the accurate edition of what they said. For those still protesting their innocence and railing against the injustice done to them it would be their opportunity to never have to bring it up again, they would be vindicated,Or would they. bonnie Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 Just an expanded version of Matthew 18. It has already been tried one on one,two and then an entire forum. This would be no arguements,no he said, she said. Only unedited postings from C/A and a now closed forum. All was assembled for other reasons, and had to be completely accurate, not even spelling corrected. Perfect chance for those that feel they have been harmed or threatened to prove once and for all of their innocence and the total injustice done to them. Or is it easier and more beneficial to simply take a final act and run with it. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. olger Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Hello Sister: It sounds like you are ready for reconciliation. It it available, and it's the kind of thing that changes lives. In heaven, no one will draw Paul aside and say "Boy I got fed up with that person one earth and I really let `em have it." Rather I think the conversations will sound something like, "Because of Jesus (point across the City) I stepped outside of the societal rules of selfishness, and learned how to love and humble myself. And I learned how to forgive. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be here." oG Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Woody Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Quote: And I learned how to forgive. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be here." Do you think he would need to bring all the documentation to prove it? Just in case there might be some who doubted? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Do you think he would need to bring all the documentation to prove it? Just in case there might be some who doubted? No Redwood, no documentation in heaven needed. Nor will there be this continuing bringing up old issues at every opportunity, simply to show how terribly wrong the other guy was. Nor will there be any blaming anyone else for actions that you took to precipitate the final action that everyone focuses on. Forgivness is not the issue. Woody Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Quote: Forgivness is not the issue. It wouldn't hurt if you at least got this formality out of the way though. bonnie Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 You are right, except I don't consider it a formality. Nor do I think forgivness is a catch all term that is to be used to the advantage for one. What I do is my responsibility, but those that demand, expect, ask for, IMO do so first before they make demands or requests of another. If forgivness is an important concept it will be done without the demand or request, it will not be done by continually railing against a perceived injustice To keep bringing up at the slightest opportunity, no matter who does it, and it is not just done by one, tells me those professing haven't reached that yet. bonnie Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 Have I gotten there. Not sure how to answer that. In personal terms what you or others may think really does not cause me a loss of sleep. Do I hate anyone, NO. Do I have any respect for many that think they know, pass judgement and then go to another part of the forum with "We don't know the whole story, we can't judge" Not a bit So I guess for me I still can't answer completely, I am more nuetral as I don't think forgivness is wanted, I believe continiung railing is what is wished for and responded to with a certain amount of "righteous indignation" It would be a way for the whole story to be told Now it is more a way to settle the issue once and for all if I decide to take that path. I am not afraid of the documentation. Would I rather not, YES. A lot of time I believe would be spent by a number of people that in the end, still will continue where possible to bring it up over and over. Not causing them to think maybe they rushed to judgement, but rather passing judgement on anything that would cause them to take a serious look at themselves. Woody Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Quote: We don't know the whole story, we can't judge" Not a bit It is not our place to judge. It IS our place to forgive all regardless of guilt or innocense. Quote: I am more nuetral as I don't think forgivness is wanted Bonnie ... I wouldn't care what they want or don't want. Give it to them whether they want it or not. The forgiveness is for you ... not for them. You need to give the forgiveness. For yourself. May God bless you in this effort. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
bonnie Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 You are right, it is not anyone's place to judge, but an awful lot of that privilege seems to be taken anyway. When I said I was more neutral, part of what I meant is I don't care whether they choose to take that path or not. For those demanding certain incidences never be repeated and not knowing the circumstances tells me a lot about their mindset in a situation they know nothing about. For those that continue to keep rehashing or bringing up at the slightest opportunity also tells me what I feel I need to know about where they are at. For some reason a willingness to lay out all the facts unedited is seen as unforgivness. Sorry, but I don't see in in that way. Only to bring an end to this issue that no one wants to have some bring up and yet show eagerness to join when others do. As for me those are personal decisions I need to come to. Not be told by those that have weighed in on a situation they really know nothing about and rendered their judgement without facts. When I do so I do not do so lightly or just to repeat a phrase. The simple fact it keeps coming up over and over in not so subtle ways may indicate you also need to be directing this to those doing so. Forgivness is not necessarily a two way street. But to keep from rehashing and all this righteous indignation floating around ,full disclousure may take care of it, if I decide to go ahead. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make.
