Administrators Gail Posted March 7, 2008 Administrators Posted March 7, 2008 My girlfriend suffers from a chronic disease and cannot work more than 1/2 day at a time. She must guard her health or else pay for it for days afterward. She and her husband have little income. When her car broke down, she was really stuck, having no resources to buy a new one. Not only that, but the prospect of taking buses and walking would surely add to her physical hardship. A church member, having heard of her situation, surprised her by buying her a car! It's not new but a good age and should be reliable for at least 10 years. Sweet! A car is a big need! I was surprised and very pleased for her when I saw the car. Thank you, Lord!! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Lauralea Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 I just got a car inexpensively and felt it was providential too. It should be good for many years, and was one of the safest ones available the year it was built, a big plus when you drive long distances in California. Quote Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us.
