Olympic Torch Troubles

The protesters are sure making it difficult for the torch to make it through the world. Do you support the Tibet protesters cause? Are they going about it the right way by trying to stop the Olympic process? Shouldn't the torch be able to make it's way throughout the world without disruptions?

It depends on what one wants for Tibet. I think they are asking not for independence but for autonomy. I'm not sure the Chinese government will give that up so quickly.

Is it similar to the situation of Scotland or the Basque in Spain? I think they want total independence...

I do support the cause, but not in a violent way.

Personally I think it is a shame when they protest the Olympic torch. In my opinion, the Olympics is the one time when ALL countries should put aside their differences and celebrate their athletes that have worked so very hard to be among the best of the best.

When they protest the passing of the torch, it is the same as ripping apart all the yellow roses, because you are protesting the cutting down of the rain forests.

There are better ways of going about to make your wants and wishes known, protesting the Olympic torch isn't one of them.
