Stan Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 You know if it is on FOX it is researched and can be trusted.. Stan Breaking News Image of Jesus at Florida Hospital Prayer Garden Last Edited: Tuesday, 15 Apr 2008, 5:53 PM EDT Created: Tuesday, 15 Apr 2008, 5:49 PM EDT Take a look and see it for yourself. This is the picture e-mailed to FOX 35. If you focus in the center what do you see? Is it the image of Jesus Christ? ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) - You've seen the images of the Virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich and Jesus in a potato salad. Now you can add an Orlando, Florida hospital to the list. Leaders of the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital will only say there’s an un-explained image showing up on a window. In the busy hallway overlooking the prayer garden between t he Florida hospital chapel where people pray for faith and the emergency room where life is saved, an interesting image is popping up on a window. Maureen Tomaszewski was on the way to visit her daughter recovering from surgery. We showed her the cell phone image sent to us. “It looks like a face to me, first of all I haven't seen Jesus, personally, and so I can't say that it's Jesus." Take a look at a different picture, somebody e-mailed us. In the upper left-hand corner there's a painting of Jesus. Could it be an image or just a reflection? Is it the real deal, a sign of the savior? Maureen Tomaszewski's still on the fence. "I definitely believe in God and heaven, and I know where I'm going when I leave the earth, but I don't necessarily believe in, I'm sure there are miracles that happen and stuff, but I don't necessarily believe in images like that. There's a face there, I don't know what it's from, and I don't know if I would say that it's Jesus, maybe it is, I haven't seen him, you know." Amelia Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Weli it does look simular to the iconic image of Jesus found on many prints. But that lady is right. None of us have seen Jesus so we can't say that is Him. Moderators John317 Posted April 16, 2008 Moderators Posted April 16, 2008 There is a name for this kind of psychological phenomenon. Forgotten what it is called. But I often "see" faces and forms in floor tile and in curtains and sometimes in plaster on the walls. My wife is a former Catholic and her family is Catholic, and when she saw the picture, she said that for Catholics this would be a very important thing. They believe it is a miracle from God. Most Catholics put emphasis on what they see and hear. Protestants, on the other hand, give emphasis to the study of the Bible. For the Catholic, then, God communicates with them through things they can see and hear, whereas SDAs look to God's written Word for God's communication to them. For instance, if you were to point to something in the Bible as a message from God, and read it out loud, those who place their emphasis on what they see, such as an image of Jesus, will not pay attention or fully comprehend what you are reading to them. Their attention will all be drawn to the image that has appeared in some (to them) miraculous way. If we depend on our senses to determine what is a message from God and what is truth, we will eventually be deceived, because we know that one day Satan will appear as Christ and lead almost the world into error. The only ones who won't be deceived in that time will be those who, loving the truth, have learned by practice to distinguish truth from error from a close study of the Bible and by dependence on the Holy Spirit. We're practicing for that time now, of course. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

"Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21 KJV I have knowledge of a group , I think from the Phillipins(sp), where the person leading out is titled the appointed Son of God. Knowledge of the Word keeps me from reaching out to such resources. "For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather" Matthew 24:27-29 NASB Regards! Quote Lift Jesus up!!

Knowledge of the Word keeps me from reaching out to such resources.... Yes, I have heard of this person also. It seems to me that people like his followers and the followers of people such as Jim Jones should be able to see from the Word that these people are not speaking the truth as it is in Jesus. Jim Jones even threw his Bible down on the floor and told the congregation that from now on they were to listen to him and not to the Bible. If I had been there, I would immediately have gotten up and left. When people stayed, that is when they fell under Jones' control. They had plenty of evidence that he was of the devil. The same with David Koresh. Jesus said when we see those false signs, we are not even to go out and look because of curiosity. Eve went to the tree out of curiosity and then once she was there and saw the fruit and heard the serpent, she was caught up in the temptation. She shouldn't have even gone there. When we go onto Satan's ground, we give him the decided advantage. So I wouldn't even go to those organizations or churches where I believe Satan is in control. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. nuff sed Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Hey, I live ten miles from Florida Hospital and I hadn't heard about this. I shall ask my daughter-in-law about it. She works for Florida Hospital...Stay tuned. Quote
LifeHiscost Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 So I wouldn't even go to those organizations or churches where I believe Satan is in control. TU I'm sure you make the exception for the mission of mercy to one already having succumbed. "The LORD said to Satan, " The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?" Zechariah 3:2 NASB Regards! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Moderators John317 Posted April 17, 2008 Moderators Posted April 17, 2008 For that, yes. But we should be careful with that, too, because I could imagine that if I were an alcoholic, for instance, Satan would love to get me to go to a bar to try and help a fellow alcoholic, only to have me get involved in the sin I am trying to help someone else get out of. We have to know our own weaknesses and limits. Our danger is often in not realizing our own vulnerability or in thinking we're stronger than we really are. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. LifeHiscost Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Our danger is often in not realizing our own vulnerability or in thinking we're stronger than we really are. I find it easiest to recognize myself as weak in all areas of deception and lean upon the promises of Christ's enabling power, after being persuaded He has called me to any particular ministry. Maybe that's a reason I have been largely restricted to the work of a caregiver as that seems easiest for me to fulfill successfully. "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Matt 19:26 KJV "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40 KJV "Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind." Romans 14:5 NASB Regards! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
