Stan Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 In looking over some of the 'stuff' that is going on with the 3ABN vs others current lawsuit, one of the demands in the subpoena is to provide emails between various people. That leads to this question..... How long do you keep emails for? I could not provide send/received emails that are years old. Does anyone? Moderators Bravus Posted May 20, 2008 Moderators Posted May 20, 2008 G-mail makes that pretty easy. (wanders off to look) My oldest messages there are from January 2004, and I throw away nothing but spam. Quote Truth is important
Dr. Shane Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I think Outlook allows one to keep any emails they don't delete. In the office we print out all of our emails to file hard copies and we store the original electronic copies in designated files in Outlook. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... carolaa Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I keep very little over 3 months old. But I thought there were ways to retrieve that stuff. Which is why I don't understand how there can be so many "missing" White House emails. Quote
