Ellen Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Only SDA scholars would be interested in some books I am ready to get rid of. They are a set of articles written by E G White from the Review, Signs and Youth Instructor. They are in 5 very heavy volumes around 5 pounds each. If I could found someone who wants them between Kingston Ontario and Andrews University, Michigan I could deliver them myself. I have thought of putting them on sale on the internet but likely only adventists would have any interest in them. And WHERE would I find Adventists? Quote
Amelia Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Have you thought of putting an ad in your conference magazine? How about at the local academies and universities? carolaa Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Oh, I would definitely try eBay if I were you. Believe it or not, lots of Adventists shop there. Quote
Tallmark Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Another place is Craig's list. I've bought and sold a lot of stuff there. Quote
Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted May 24, 2008 Moderators Posted May 24, 2008 How about donating them? Maybe to an academy library, or a college library? Then you can take an income tax deduction for their fair market value. Quote Jeannie<br /><br /><br />...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
nuff sed Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Donate them to Cedar Lake Academy and get a tax donation. They, in turn, will sell them. They are developing a very good source of used Adventist books for sale. I have used them a couple of times. Quote
Ellen Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks for all the suggestions. Tell me about Craig's list. Quote
nuff sed Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 When you get to Campmeeting post a flyer on the bulletin board listing what you have for sale...if you can find the bulletin board <g>. Do they still hold Campmeeting in Oshawa? Quote
