Amelia Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Meet the giant Friesian that may be UK's tallest Chilli lives at the Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Chard, Somerset The owners of Chilli, a black and white Friesian steer, believe he may be the tallest bovine in Britain. Weighing 1.25 tons, and towering 6ft 6in at the shoulder, Chilli dwarfs most horses, is the same height as a small elephant, and could provide enough steaks to feed an army. Despite his size, Miss Clarke described him as being “very friendly and gentle.” Quote
"Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you." Eph 4:29

Fairview Or

Dottie Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I got the impression that he is not a bull, but a steer. Therefore, he doesn't feel any need to protect his "harem," and would be more docile than a bull. Quote
