Hmmmm, I like the colors better.

For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26

WhaddhayouMEAN "spiritually speaking"??

[he says as he sniffs the air].

Are you looking for compromise? Compromise is the devil's tool to get you away from THE TRUTH!

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

LOL sweet!

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

You poor thing. I think the bottom line is that you don't like change. Conservatism likes to keep the status quo. Be liberal just a bit. The change will be good for ya.

Ah, so that's what happened in this section! Someone, give Stan something to do, quick - before he changes this to white on black in order to appease some eyes.

I quite like the black on white, but I agree with LynnDel, if Stan tries to go white on black he needs a good long vacation somewhere......on second thoughts that might make him change so LD's idea is better :))

I think it is wrong to think in black and white. For example, is there good without evil?If God created satan, who could convince one third of the angels to rebel, then maybe God isn t good at all. He says he permits evil, so people can learn to know good. In a sense, God is the creator of evil. So i don t believe anymore in a black and white concept, good and evil. The things that we call evil, are just the fruits of misconception of factual information. In that sense, all evil is the manifestation of not knowing. God is the one who does not wants us to know everything, therefore God is the creator of evil. Then you say, why would God create evil? In order that he might be glorified by beings that look like him. He can present himself like the good guy, just like a. hitler did in the 1930s for the homeless people. Then you ask, but if God doesn t really care about evil why did Jesus had to die? Do we really know how Jesus came into existence?he is called the son of God, a son is something that is created by its creator. We believe that Jesus is the eternal one, but how in a human mind are we supposed to know and believe such irrational beliefs? God has always been there, God is full of grace, ask the father in Jesus name and he will give you..all these things you find in the bible, in practice none of em are reality. So i think that black and white thinking is the result of not being able to comprehend complex matters whereby we decide to make things easier.

Good and evil are certainly complex, but I think you have oversimplified!

On the other hand, I thought this whole black/white thing was Stan's commentary on the political race in the US. But I could be wrong. It's happened before.

H'mmmm? I'm getting like Bush. Yes, I corrected the above, but again I must have Bush's genes. You know, "The Internets" - "the Google"!

So we see God had no choice but to allow Satan to develop his system of "self". Otherwise it could never be exposed. The only way to test a theory is to allow it to develop - to be challenged!

Satan’s rebellion was to be a lesson to the universe through all coming ages—a perpetual testimony to the nature of sin [the love of self] and its terrible results. The working out of Satan’s rule [again, self-love], its effects upon both men and angels, would show what must be the fruit of setting aside the divine authority. It would testify that with the existence of God’s government is bound up the well-being of all the creatures He has made. Thus the history of this terrible experiment of rebellion was to be a perpetual safeguard to all holy beings, to prevent them from being deceived as to the nature of transgression, to save them from committing sin, and suffering its penalty [eternal death] . The infinite value of the sacrifice required for our redemption reveals the fact that sin [iniquity] is a tremendous evil.
