I read some email that I should have deleted dealing with one of Peter's first books.

But later I picked up the Desire of Ages...nearly done with it. Yepee! It has been such a blessing.

I turned back to the last paragraphs prior to the chapter on Judas.

She relates that Peter ran blindly from the court of the judgment hall and found himself back in Gethsemane where he spent time in prayer and heartsearching.

When Judas left the hall, he went and hung himself.

What did Peter do? Did he return and witness the last moments of his Lord Jesus on the cross? I would like to know if she (Sister Ellen) refers to this matter in other books or articles?

I guess with all our learned friends here, there is no answer?

There is no indication where he was geographically, but we can be certain that he was in deeeep introspection. I can see him walking alone, remembering the Lord's eyes as they swept over the courtyard and met his.
