...there was a group of people where everybody is love. A group of people that would take care of the sick people, the sinners, the hungry and the homeless without expecting anything in return. I wish there was a body of people where love is the only meaningfull unspoken language. I wish that this group of people also had the right vision of God. I wish i had a home of love. I wish there was an army of angels to help me dry all of the tears i cry inside. I wish i had a home filled with 'brothers and sisters' of Christ.

I hope Jesus will help me to fullfill these dreams. Unfortunately i could not find it in the adventist church where knowledge seems more important than selfless love, where people proclaim big things, but are not willing to sacrifice their ego for the good cause, where legalism turns into satanic hatred, where the top leadership wants to play church and uses ellen as a pope to indoctrinate the people, where people are not allowed to think for themselves, where a lot of confusion exists because of the complicated unbiblical doctrines.

Are there more people here that feel that the SDA church has become a part of Babylon? What does knowledge mean without love? Love and grace are the true foundations upon which Jesus righteousness and lovely character are manifested. The SDA church has an arrogant attitude of 'our doctrines are better than yours'. Do you think Jesus cares more about doctrines than love? Do you think that at the end of time Jesus will say; "good servant, thanks for teaching that doctrine"? I think that Jesus judges us according to the extent of love. Jesus is love, so if we want to learn the language of love, let s start loving each other, not because you might get rewarded for it, but because it is the only language that heals broken hearts and can bring us into harmony with Jesus Christ. Me myself had figured it all out, every aspect of satan s agenda filled my mind, i became judgemental and eventually satanic. I am glad that Jesus shows me that love is more important than knowledge. Jesus felt compassion with the very weak people who probably hadn t any knowledge at all. Oh how i wished that Jesus would intervene in his church, so it could be a place called 'home', where there is no distinction between friends and family, but where we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

I am glad that i can come here, sharing my pain and struggles. I wish i had somebody to love. I love Jesus but i can t talk to him face to face.

You may not be able to speak to Him face to face, but you can speak to Him heart to heart.

Wow- you have gone through a LOT in your experience! I think we have all encountered people like that but they don't only reside within the SDA Church. They are everywhere- their dysfunction just resides in a different home.

Have I seen those types? Well, yeah! But it hasn't caused me the same grief as you. I have also seen the most wonderful people in the church who have taught me much about life, about the love that you speak of.

It IS there! The problem is it takes 5 positives to overcome a negative (or is it 10?). The negatives are remembered more readily.

I hope that you can find a home here :) and that you will join in extending the arms of Jesus' love

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Hope it helps coming here. It is good that you are here. It is good that you voice your struggles. It is good for us to have you with us. Always know that you are welcome.

I just hate to be the one to say "reality check, buddy!"......

First off, if you are looking for people here on earth that describes what you are looking for, I would be thinking "cult"....You know, Jim Jones, Koresh, et al...Weird guys with wierd ideas enforcing them on a lot of weird people...

Second, you maybe wondering, you can even concieve of a place where everyone is in harmony and peaceful bliss....Frankly, I can't. The reason, I can't is because everyone I know wants something that everyone else can not live with. Maybe you have this fetish for burgers, but**I** can't stand people with burger breath...see what I mean?

Third, you may be hurting, but you aren't the only one. Everyone you come into contact every day is hurting in some way and in some form. Gail, Redwood, Stan, Nan,.... EVEN me! [i know, it's hard to imagine, but it's true.]

The real issue isn't THEM...out there...It's you here...It's how do you respond to what you see here and now. Are you willing to do something about it? Are you willing to help someone here and now?

Then you might be able to create a bit of heavenly

harmony...but the real test comes when -

when they whine and complain all the way to thier better path to freedom. Even as you explain the Great Controversy to them. It's new to them and they whine and complain that it's just so difficult...Even as you ease thier physical pains, your just as likely tomake them uncomfortable in other ways. Ways that they just can not live up to...and it's bothersome to them....

Frankly, I'd just as soon make those people feel uncomfortable as they get off thier cigarettes, and praise them for the ump-teenth time that they are now down to just 3 cigarettes per day instead of the pack and a half they have been consuming...and instead of those cravings that have been coming every 10 minutes, they are down to 3 perday as I feed them with nutritious veggie meals...Can you do that without complaining to them? and taking all thier whining and complaining as well?

That's the issue....It's isn't them....The whole controversy is YOU...and how you answer this question.....What are you going to do about their problem?

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

The closest I have ever come to feeling loved and accepted as I am is at Adventist Single Adult Ministries where love and acceptance are stressed. You will not find it at Women's or Men's Ministries nor in the church. Singles Ministries is the place where true Christian love is at because many of these singles have experienced rejection and unacceptance in their lives and in the church and as a result most closely know how to give the love and acceptance that they did not receive in their church families.

Believe it? Come and see!
