_david Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Interactive Bethlehem program planned in Foxboro Wednesday, November 24, 2004 FOXBORO - The Seventh-day Adventist Church's live nativity and city of Bethlehem program will again be presented to the public on the weekend of Dec. 3-5. This interactive experience includes costumed performers that teach you the story of the birth of Jesus. Follow a Roman centurion and register with the census taker. Come to the inn and sample some tea, visit the different shops and learn about their various crafts. Try your hand at making a mosaic in the tile shop and warm yourself by the fire in the marketplace as the village storyteller entertains you with tales of old. The journey ends with a visit with the shepherds and their sheep as they receive the news from angels about Christ's birth. Stop at the nativity to talk with Joseph and Mary about their experience with the newborn baby. The Foxboro Seventh-day Adventist Church presents this Advent Journey free to the public. The program will run Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4, 6:30-8 p.m. Sunday night's program will run 5:30-7 p.m. The church is located at 308 Central St. For more information or directions please call 508-238-0747 or 508-543-9346.
