Time goes faster?

I remember when visiting with my aunt and uncle various friends on Sabbath afternoons, how often the comment would come up. "Time goes by too fast!"

As you are 'maturing', do you notice whether or not time seems to be going faster for you?

I can sit down at the computer and time just whezzes by. On the other hand I can be cloud watching and the next thing I know, an hour has passed by.

The older you get, the smaller an hour is in proportion to the rest of your life. Time flies when you're having fun. I think it also flies when something you're dreading is on the horizon.

On the other hand, I have five more days of teaching this year, and I know it will be a long week. I am still supposed to teach, but the students are already on vacation. They are in the classroom - yes, appearing to have brains - yes, but checked out already. Knock, knock. Nobody home.

I feel like the work week is days too long and the weekend passes in a blink. I know my body is not recouperating during the weekend. Oh my aching bones.
