Amelia Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Funky 300 MPG Car Taking Pre-Orders Last year, EcoGeek brought you a little story about a 330-mpg, three-wheeled car. The guy who was building it said that it they were indeed going to build and sell them, indeed...for less than $20,000. We were skeptical, and rightly (the price has risen). But they've done it. The prototype has hit interstates, and they're taking reservations for delivery in "approximately 12 months." http://www.ecogeek.org/content/view/1033/69/ The Little Story http://www.ecogeek.org/content/view/22/ Quote
"Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you." Eph 4:29

Fairview Or

Dr. Shane Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 This looks like old technology too. Freight train engines are run by electric motors powered by diesel generators. This car is basically the same thing. I think I would rather have one of these than a Corvette. It is cheaper too. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
