Administrators Gail Posted June 17, 2008 Administrators Posted June 17, 2008 Every time I hear of this on the news, every time a new foot washes up on someone's shore, it creeps me out. Stan Posted June 17, 2008 Author Posted June 17, 2008 I check for both my feet every morning now. Two of them were size 12 men, so I felt safe. darlene Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Guess what! They've just found a sixth foot this morning. What in the world is going on? 6th foot found on B.C. south coast Last Updated: Wednesday, June 18, 2008 | 3:20 PM CBC News A foot reportedly found Wednesday in the water on the south coast of British Columbia would be the sixth such discovery in a year. A right foot clad in a running shoe was discovered on Wednesday morning by a woman walking on the beach near Campbell River on the East Coast of Vancouver Island, witnesses told CBC News. Quote
Neil D Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I hope you canucks are not swimming out there between the Island and the mainland with those nice big, black and white orcas out there.....eh? My advice...stay out of the water... Oh, by the way, perhaps some people are missing a foot because theyare planting them in the behinds of....oh, never mind...not a pleasent thought... Amelia Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Well there were two unknown bodies found down here in Oregon yesterday. No mentioned was made as to their feet though. The police have stated that the bodies appeared to be victims of unnatural death. darlene Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 There are all kinds of theories. One is that these are 5 men involved in a plane crash back in 2005. But....they have found 5 men's right foot and 1 ladies....? They really don't have any idea and say they could be coming from another country. Quote
Administrators Gail Posted June 19, 2008 Administrators Posted June 19, 2008 I like the orca theory. Eating everything but the foot in a smelly sneaker? Doesn't seem so far-fetched to me! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Stan Posted June 19, 2008 Author Posted June 19, 2008 Actually this is what has happened. as told to me. Orca, in the evolutionary process, decided to grow feet, they all bought running shoes to put on their new feet. Once they saw all the taxes in British Columbia, they decided, nope this is not going to work, we are better off in the Ocean. AND THAT, my friends, is the facts, as told to me by that ALLEGED PERSON. Administrators Gail Posted June 19, 2008 Administrators Posted June 19, 2008 Rumour has it also that it was because the royalties from the endorsements for the shoes wasn`t high enough this side of the border, so they retaliated. Don`t know if I`d believe that... I`d have to think about it more Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Amelia Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Has it been said if any of the shoes match? darlene Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Well the 6th shoe was a hoax. A sick one.... CBC New: Remains found in a shoe near Campbell River on Wednesday belong to an animal, the BC Coroners Service says, describing the incident as a "reprehensible" hoax. The coroners service made the statement Thursday, only a day after a witness described seeing "a foot in a shoe" on a beach near the community on B.C.'s south coast. RCMP also said Wednesday that the find appeared to be a human right foot in a size 10 running shoe. The grisly discovery sparked headlines across Canada and around the world because it was initially believed to be the sixth human foot that has washed in the region over the past year. "The coroners service, a forensic pathologist and an anthropologist have all examined the shoe and remains, and determined a skeletonized animal paw was inserted into the shoe with a sock and packed with dried seaweed," the coroners service said in a statement released Thursday. "It is the position of BCCS that this type of hoax is reprehensible and very disrespectful to the families of missing persons." Quote
